Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Smart Drive. These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase of the Smart Drive smart shift knob and your use of our website. By placing a pre-order, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Pre-Order Agreement

By purchasing the Smart Drive during this phase, you acknowledge that you are participating in a Limited Pre-Order Event.

Limited Batch: This offer is strictly limited to the first 250 units produced.
Future Delivery: You understand that the product is currently in production and is scheduled for delivery in March 2026.
Payment: Payment is collected in full at the time of pre-order to secure your unit in the production queue.

2. Product Use & Safety

Driver Responsibility: The Smart Drive is designed to provide connectivity features; however, it must be used responsibly. Do not engage with the touchscreen in a way that distracts from safe vehicle operation.
Professional Installation: While designed for universal fit, we recommend professional installation to ensure the shift knob is securely fastened and does not interfere with gear transitions.
Compatibility: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure their vehicle is compatible (standard screw-on shifter without lockout buttons) before purchasing.

3. Connectivity & Software

Integration: The device uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to sync with your smartphone.
Updates: We may provide firmware updates to improve functionality. It is the user's responsibility to keep the device updated for optimal performance.
Third-Party Apps: We are not responsible for the performance or data policies of third-party applications (e.g., Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, or Spotify) used in conjunction with the device.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Pre-Order Cancellation: You may cancel your pre-order for a full refund at any time before February 15, 2026.
Post-Delivery Returns: Once delivered, the product is subject to our 30-Day Return Policy, provided it is in its original, unused condition.
Production Delays: If delivery is delayed significantly beyond March 2026, you reserve the right to request a full refund.

5. Limitation of Liability

Smart Drive shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product, including but not limited to vehicle accidents, improper installation, or data usage fees from your mobile provider.

6. Warranty

We provide a 1-year limited warranty covering electronic defects, including battery performance and connectivity issues. This warranty does not cover physical damage caused by accidents, misuse, or unauthorized modifications.
